This work uncovers strong, influential women through interviews and photographs. Each subject answers the question, "Who is a female figure in your life?" and "How have they influenced you?". A majority of these women responded by saying, "my mother." While working on this series, I discovered that mothers are strong female figures who often do not get recognized for their influence and hardwork. These images pay homage to all hardworking and influential women in the world, especially mothers.
